Lonely Planet Review
A distinctive place in a great location at the far north end of Palolem beach. The owners create a very friendly atmosphere and the huts - some with private bathroom and all with bold character - are more original than most.
A Palolem institution, the Cozy Nook is a class choice on a classy beach. Amongst its varied choices are the quintessential (read: basic bottom end) coco huts with a shared bathroom, and oh-so-trendy and solidly built cottages with their own quirky bathrooms. There is distinctly hip style throughout the whole of Cosy Nook: spacious balconies, communal chill-out areas and hut interiors have been created using artfully shaped concrete and strategically placed rocks to remove dull corners and straight lines. Walls which aren't already vibrantly tiled are covered with decorative wall hangings. In the same vein is the restaurant, where beer-bottle bases have been used to tile the floors. Another asset of Cozy Nook; is that its front yard is Palolem beach and its back yard is a pleasantly contrasted picturesque lake.
