Lonely Planet Review
Simple and stylish rooms which open onto a dedicated chill-out area and one of Goa's mellowest beaches. There's also a Euro-style restaurant where the food is class, the company is casual, and the coffee is real.
Run by an English-Swiss team with a sincere commitment to vacational perfection, Home has simple but stylish rooms with small touches of elegance that justify your choice of abode at every turn. But it's not so much the rooms that are the drawcard here as the space around them. For the neat alliteration it's tempting to say that Home is, well, homely, but the truth of it is you probably haven't lived anywhere as free and floaty as this. The chillout area is spread across sectioned-off sand, with hammocks, mattresses and even a teepee for shade. The canopied restaurant is the icing on the proverbial cake. An enthusiastic gathering of patrons come Home regularly for fresh pastas and salads, freshly baked pastries and fresh, real coffee. The only downside to Home is that it is often full by the time you arrive.
