About Copan Ruinas (Honduras)

This beautiful village has adobe buildings with red-tiled roofs lining cobbled streets, and Mayan ruins of the same name close by. There are hot springs an hour's drive from the village and nearby Santa Rosa de Copán is a picturesque mountain village with a beautiful plaza and church.
