Lonely Planet Review
The interior and exterior looks of the Kimberley Hotel aren't going to inflame the passions of many architects or interior designers, but the biggish rooms, attentive service and breadth of facilities make this one of the more appealing mid-range options in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Though ostensibly catering to the corporate crowd, the Kimberley has a touch more style than your average Hong Kong business hotel - check out some of the embellishments in the 2nd floor lobby for example - and perhaps for this reason it seems to attract plenty of non-business guests too. It certainly goes the extra mile with its fitness centre, which has a good spa bath and golf driving nets. Workaholics should note that the business centre is closed on Sunday. There are a half-dozen types of guest rooms to choose from, from the blanched colour schemes and blonde-wood furniture of the 'Standard' and 'Moderate' rooms to the spacious but fairly ordinary looking 'Deluxe Suites'.
