Shivapuri Heights is a three-bedroom house perched on the hillside above Budhanilkantha, with stunning views over the valley. It's a million miles from Kathmandu, but luckily only 15 minutes by taxi. As a secret getaway for romantic couples, or a relaxing weekend break from Kathmandu, it's hard to beat.
The fully-furnished house is equipped with stunning valley views, even from the living room, library, open fireplace and even your own personal chef. The ground floor bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the two upper-storey loft spaces share a bathroom, so it's a great setup for families. There's a lovely breakfast terrace where you can watch the planes take off and the moon rise (the valley views are great during full moons). The chef guarantees the best home-style Nepalese cooking you'll taste in Nepal. Just in case you were planning that romantic getaway and are worried about bumping into strangers in the living room, don't fear, you are guaranteed to have the house to yourself. Staff will help arrange transport when you make a booking.
