Lonely Planet Review
Good deals can be found at this modern and attractively laid-out hotel (ask for their promotional rate). Staff are polite; the ambience is smart, clean and comfortable. Rooms come with minibar, safe deposit box, coffee- and tea- making facilities, TV, shower and complementary newspaper. Breakfast is included.
Although the building sticks out clearly, it would seem that the Hotel Noble's entrance has been lost in a ton of fabric. The lifts are around the back of the material shops along Jl Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR), and the actual lobby is on the 4th floor - high enough to be buffered from Little India's roaring silk trade. There are 75 well-appointed rooms, each with hot shower, hot drink facilities, TV, and complementary newspaper. There's even optional piped-in muzak. An electronic locking system is good for peace of mind. Breakfast is included in the price, making a late start to the day's activities a risk. This is a fine choice if you want to be close to Little India's hubbub, but still savour some solitude.

Author Tip
On Saturday nights the Little India night market is right outside the market. But on any other night there's always Indian roti, dosai, veg and non-veg thalis at Vasantha Bhavan Restaurant, formerly Govinda's.
