Quotes Popular with overseas tour groups, this secure, smart and relatively modern hotel has clean, comfortable rooms. Rates include breakfast, and English and French are spoken. For the location, it's an exceptional value, especially during the off-season when discounts are available.

The Hotel Kamana is a safe oasis right in the city centre. Excellent security at the door more than compensate for its being one block off to the wrong side of a busy pedestrian street. An unprepossessing grey low-rise, some of the carpeted rooms are more attractive than others, sporting dark wood furnishings, writing desks and Peruvian-patterned textile rugs. For a more peaceful sleep, ask for a room facing away from the street. All rooms have cable TV, telephones and private bathrooms with 24-hour hot water. The charming hotel staff are adept at dealing with confused tourists, giving service with a smile. Internet access is free. Airport transfers can be arranged, and the hotel bar and room service from the in-house restaurant are available around the clock, convenient for those annoying, late-arriving international flights.

From Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport, the best way to get to the hotel is by taxi, there are two Remisse service desks inside the airport which offer this service and the ride takes approx 20 to 30 minutes depending on the traffic. We highly recommend NOT to take public transportation. The Hotel offers a secure and reliable transfer service, the cost is USD 15.00 for two people.

Join the pressing crowds of Limeños promenading up and down the Jirón de la Unión, just east of the hotel. Walk north toward the impressive Plaza de Armas, also called Plaza Mayor, with its mid-17th-century bronze fountain. The plaza is flanked by the Palacio de Gobierno, where Peru's president resides, and La Catedral, where the coffin and remains of Francisco Pizarro lie in a mosaic-covered chapel.
