Lonely Planet Review
All-new everything makes this place feel pricier than it is, as do the balconies outside every exterior room. The views are superb from rooms facing the street and you're so high up that noise is rarely a problem.
Rooms are clean, modern and large, and there are few better views on offer in Madrid than those from the triple room (no 820). Situated on the corner of the building, this room is huge and light-filled and comes with a glassed-in balcony that stretches around the side of the building. The views over central Madrid and out towards the east are as good as it gets. This is very much a family-run concern that produces a lovely homely atmosphere - unlike some hostals (cheap hotels), you get the feeling that staff are genuinely happy to see you.
