Lonely Planet Review
Near the Puerta del Sol and busy commercial district, this stylish hotel has comfortable rooms with all the amenities (even a free minibar) and a pretty, historic facade. It's received rave reviews for having excellent service, and for being all-round good value for money.
Aimed primarily at business travellers, this hotel nonetheless has a classier feel than many of the other business options you'll find around town. Soft lighting, light shades and plentiful glass personalise and make intimate what is too often offered to business travellers - comfortable but soulless. Stylish public areas and meeting rooms will similarly help you escape that feeling that you're living at work. None of this is to say that non-business travellers won't find this to be an excellent and atmospheric Madrid base - quite the reverse. It's just that business travellers love to take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds and for this reason there's not much room for anyone else.
