Lonely Planet Review
Clean, friendly and with English-speaking staff, this is far and away one of the city's best budget options. Cheerful dorm-style rooms sleep from four to 12 people. This is a great place to plug into the backpacker network - it's busy, lots of students stay here and the staff are pretty traveller-savvy and able to solve most of your problems.
There's Internet access, a washing machine, and a small but laid-back lounge area with comfy sofas and well-equipped kitchens. Prices include breakfast. It is almost impossible to snaffle the only double room in the house, but the street-facing rooms - while noisy in summer if you sleep with the doors open - are light and airy, which somewhat reduces the sense of dorm-room claustrophobia. One bonus is the the small fee you can pay if you want to check out in the morning but continue to use the Internet and showers. Los Amigos is always full and gets lots of repeat visitors, which is a better recommendation than we can give.
