Lonely Planet Review
Entering this swanky boutique hotel is like entering Madrid's latest nightclub, with staff dressed all in black, black walls and swirls of red lighting in the lobby. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and simple furniture, light tones contrasting smoothly with muted colours, and dark surfaces.
In some of the rooms you might wonder what all of the fuss is about, but the minimalist nature of the design means that you'll feel at home and very comfortable without really understanding why. Plans to expand into the neighbouring building and an opportunity to refresh one of the first minimalist boutique hotels to appear in Madrid suggest that this is one place keen to stay at the forefront of Madrid's booming style explosion. Staff are young, friendly and attentive and the whole place runs like an elite nightclub as well - slick and professional. The location, easy walking distance from Plaza del Oriente and Plaza del Sol, is also a winner.
