With its peaceful location on a street of apartment buildings in the south of Colaba, Fariyas Hotel is a comforting distance from the noise and hawkers of Colaba Causeway. It's a no nonsense, business-like place, that also contains a small pool, health club and a patio cafe. It's a cut above most mid-range places in this area, which is reflected in the rates. Deluxe rooms definitely have the edge over the standard rooms with excellent facilities, including a wet and dry minibar. Proving that you get what you pay for, service is top notch and staff can help you book transport around the country. However, it's a hike to the bars and restaurants in north Colaba.
