Two of the Hôtel Paradis's 17 rooms are set up as 4- to 6-bed dorms, but overall they're a bit more refined than Paradis' more backpackery sibling, Meyerbeer Beach, which draws a younger, party-harder crowd. A budget hotel with boutique sensibilities, the Hôtel Paradis' French-washed walls, red and gold bedspreads and drapes and bucolic Provençal pictures on the walls inspire a jaunt through the surrounding countryside. Some bathrooms are very plain, if clean, and others have been upgraded with blue and white tiles and double sinks. Unlike Meyerbeer Beach it doesn't have Internet (but you're welcome to drop by to use the free Internet over there), and no kitchenettes, though some rooms have fridges. Five rooms are air-conditioned, and the rest are cooled by metallic fans. Hôtel Paradis is entirely non-smoking.
