The majority of the Hôtel du Centre's 28 brightly coloured rooms have their own squeaky-clean, floor-to-ceiling tiled bathrooms, but there are also four rooms with a washbasin only and shared shower and toilets, which are an absolute steal for one or two people. The cosy rooms are packed with amenities like soundproofing, telephone, multi-language satellite TV and fridge; and there's a lift to whisk you up the floors. Free wi-fi's are already up and running in some rooms, and will be available in all imminently. And, the hotel's just opened its own Niçois- and Italian-influenced restaurant next door. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
