Chambre de Charme

Lonely Planet Review

Quotes One thing that can be said about this place is that it does not milk the medieval/neogothic cow to death like so many hotels in the Marais. Rooms are of a good size (especially for this section of historical Paris) but, frankly, could use some freshening up. Colour schemes range from vibrant yellows to understated blues, and exposed beams, wrought-ironwork and tapestries figure prominently throughout. An added bonus is the bathrooms; though ordinary they have windows that look onto a courtyard. Three 'duplex' suites on two levels are huge and can easily accommodation three or four people. Rooms are cooled by fans in the warmer months.
