South of Pokhara on the east bank of the deep Seti Gorge the Fulbari is a vast, five-star resort hotel. It's far enough from town for uninterrupted mountain views, and inside you'll find every conceivable luxury including a huge pool, health spa and golf club.

The Fulbari is practically a walled city perched high on the rim of the deep and dramatic Seti Gorge. It's a long way from the lakeshore, but facilities are so extensive that there's no great need to go into Pokhara, except to catch your flight home. You can spend days chasing balls around the golf course, walking in the landscaped gardens or indulging yourself in the Avatar spa. There's even a dedicated programme of herbal treatments and organic meals for particularly health-conscious guests. The mountain views benefit from the absence of other buildings on the skyline and the immaculate rooms have all the luxuries you would expect for the price. Other hotel facilities include two pools, tennis courts, discos, bars, three restaurants and an in-house trekking and travel agency.
