Quotes Set in an old apartment block just behind the Municipal House, this well-located hostel has a wide range of simple rooms, from singles and doubles to dorms sleeping up to 12. There's a kitchen, Internet access and a lounge.

The building itself looks pretty shabby and uninviting, but inside it's a bright, modern place popular with the international backpacking crowd. Rooms with and without private facilities are available; those without have toilets and bathrooms on each corridor. Private shower-rooms are attached to rooms with between one and six beds. Dorms are fairly plain, but have clean wooden floors and smart pine bunks - all linen is included in the price. There's a slightly scruffy TV lounge to hang out in, a kitchen to cook in, a continuous supply of free tea and coffee, and Internet access at hand. The Apple doesn't have the friendly, party atmosphere that some of the city's hostels enjoy, but its location is the big draw.

Then take subway line A & go to station Mustek switch for line B & go to station Namesti Republiky. (5 stops - 10 min). Or ... you can take a SHUTTLE from the airport straight to street V Celnici (120,- czk per person) and we are just 150 m from suttle station.

Author Tip

The Apple makes a good base for exploring the Old Town. The Municipal House is just round the corner, as are the shops and cafes of Na Príkopê. The metro station is on your doorstep, and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
