Quotes 'At the Cross' is an attractively renovated 16th-century building right across the road from Petrín Hill with 22 simple, cosy rooms. This pleasant little hotel, which has been going since 1995, occupies an enviable spot in southern Malá Strana.

It's a quiet and unassuming place with friendly staff, and although rooms are on the small side, they're comfortable and well maintained. The antique-style furnishings add a touch more character, and mod cons include minibars and satellite TVs. Rooms at the front have good views of Petrín park, although as the hotel is on a busy main road, you can expect some degree of noise. There are a number of late-opening pubs very close to the hotel as well, and several restaurants. The hotel itself has two restaurants, and a secluded courtyard where you can enjoy a drink or two on a balmy summer's day. The hotel has its own subterranean car park, and pets are welcome for an additional charge.

Hotel U Kříže is situated in a very center of Prague, in one of the most appreciated historical part of the city called Malá Strana. The hotel arised from the reconstruction of the historical building reaching 16th century. Hotel “U Kříže” was opened on 1.6.1995 and offers accommodation in 16 rooms and 6 suites, all provided with TV with satellite channels, direct-dial telephones, safety box and mini bars. The hotel’s underground garage offers 6 parking places. If wished we can arrange the sightseeing tour of the city and surroundings. Our restaurant of style offering Italian cuisine (including the vegetarian meals) are attending every quest looking for an excellent meal in a nice peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel se nachází ve staré historické budově na Malé Straně. Historie domu „U KŘÍŽE“ se datuje již od 15. století. V letech 1994 až 1995 byl přebudován na tříhvězdičkový hotel ve vysokém standardu při zachování starobylého kouzla. Hotel má velice výhodnou polohu, jen pár minut chůze od hotelu U KŘÍŽE je Pražský Hrad, Karlův most, Staré i Nové Město. Také doprava po celé Praze je velice snadná. V blízkosti hotelu je tramvajová zastávka, stanice lanové dráhy na Petřín a stanice metra je jen dvě zastávky tramvají. Hotel má kapacitu 22 pokojů, z toho 16 dvoulůžkových a 6 apartmentů (s možností přistýlky). Všechny pokoje jsou vybaveny koupelnou s WC, stylovým nábytkem, ledničkou, minibarem, barevnou televizí a trezorem. V objektu je italská restaurace TRATTORIA AMEDEO, salonek pro hosty, garáže pro 6 vozů a terasa. Hotel je umístěn v klidném prostředí a má příjemné domácí klima. Okna hotelu jsou situována do petřínského parku nebo na hotelovou terasu.

U Kríže makes a good base for discovering Malá Strana, and there's lots going on nearby. Just opposite is Petrín Hill; a funicular will take you to the top. A couple of doors along, Bohemia Bagel is a good bet for cheap food, while five minutes or so to the east is Kampa Park, home to the Kampa Museum and Tato Kojkej bar.
