This lovely historic mansion just a few minutes' walk from Old Town Square has nine individually designed (and individually priced) apartments, ranging from smallish doubles to large two-level suites. All have kitchens, and some have working fireplaces and great views.
Discreetly tucked down a side street in the centre of the Old Town, and pleasingly sheltered from the nearby tourist hubbub, the Residence Retêzová occupies the 16th-century 'House of the Three Golden Chains', and offers a wide choice of accommodation options, with nine apartments all named after international cities. The smallest, the very compact 'Singapore', is, frankly, a bit of a squeeze, while the largest, the stunning 'London' suite, is spread over two levels, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pretty little balcony with great views over the Old Town rooftops. There's also a spacious lounge with a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. Some of the apartments have retained their original painted wooden ceilings, and all have fully-equipped kitchens and dining areas, though meals can be delivered to your room for an extra charge.

THE CENTRE DRIVE THROUGH NARODNI TRIDA -NATIONAL THEATRE. AT
THE END TURN LEFT TO TO PERLOVA STREET. TAKE LEFT ONTO
UHELNY TRH SQUARE AND THAN THROUGH SKOREPKA STREET. TURN
RIGHT INTO NARROW JILSKA STREET AND FIRST LEFT THROUGH SHORT
LANE ZLATA. TAKE RIGHT INTO HUSOVA STREET AND LEFT TO
RETEZOVA. ALL OF THEM ARE ONE WAY ROADS.

This quiet and friendly all-suite residence is ideally placed for exploring the Old Town. There's a branch of the excellent Ebel Coffee House chain in the same building, and Old Town Sq is less than 5min east. The river and Charles Bridge are about the same distance to the west, and there are numerous bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
