Lonely Planet Review

Quotes Ritchie's is one of central Prague's better quality hostels, with a good range of simple, cosy rooms. Dorm rooms have fresh pine bunks - free linen is provided - while the doubles are bright, clean and attractively priced for this very central location. Bathrooms are pleasantly spic-and-span. Communal areas include a tiny lounge and a bar. Internet access is handily provided. You'll have to dodge past the army of browsers in the tacky souvenir shop on the ground floor to get to the hostel entrance, a gated stairwell set amid the Russian dolls and beer steins.

How To Get There

Among Ritchie's major advantageous is excellent public-transport accessibility - two underground stations (on the green A and yellow B metro lines) and many tram and bus stops are nearby. The hostel's location in Prague is also convenient for quick access to Prague's major train and bus stations. Transport (e.g., by minibus) to/from the airport takes approx. 30-50 minutes.

Author Tip

There's no shortage of eateries, bars, clubs and all manner of other attractions in the vicinity. A five-minute walk away is O'Che's, a popular backpacker bar and restaurant. The Czech Museum of Fine Arts is a minute or two along the street, and Old Town Sq isn't much further.
