Quotes The hotel rooms are spread among two buildings. The old wing has a hall full of old antiques and the rooms have sizeable bathrooms with tubs, and are comfortably furnished and decorated either in a floral theme or more subdued yellows or tans. (You will find worn, brown carpeting and a few other blemishes that the hotel needs to address.) A handful of renovated rooms boast wood floors, marble bathrooms and pleasant decor that perhaps warrants the price. The deluxe rooms also boast stunning views over the bay. The new wing has trim, modern rooms without any of the old-fashioned ambience. There are also several pools (one is curiously shaped like an amoeba) and a fitness centre. There are pretty beaches nearby, but the water here is too polluted for swimming. You'll have to truck down to Copacabana for the real beach experience.

How To Get There

-From Santos Dumont Airport:
-Take Aterro Flamengo Parkway 5 miles south.
-Gloria Hotel Rio is on the right hand side.

From the airport from Navegantes is 50 kilometers far. You can take a bus at the airport or come with a rented car. Companies like Gol and Tam provide free bus transportation. If you come to our city by bus you should take the bus number "605 - Terminal Proeb" . You should leave the bus at the Bus Translation Station "Proeb" and take any of the numbers "12 30 31 32" where is written "Terminal Fonte". After you take one of these bus should leave the bus stop in front of the city mall named "Shopping Neumarkt" wich is located downtown at "7 de setembro street". After that, just walk 200 meters down at rua 7 de setembro and you will be in front of the Hotel Glória. If You come by car, just reach the 7 de setembro street wich is located in the middle of the city and 200 meters after you see the mall named "Shopping Neumarket" you will see the Hotel Gloria or the Cafehaus Glória, then just turn left where you will reach our parking place.
