Set on a tiny peaceful street in Copacabana, this three-storey hostel has a friendly, welcoming ambience, basic quarters and ample lounge space. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Young backpackers flock to this popular spot in Copacabana. Although the rooms are a bit small, they're clean and nicely maintained, and the house has plenty of other good spots to relax and meet other young travelers. Guests have access to the pool table, lounge, kitchen and internet. Many who pass through the doors here end up staying for much longer than they had planned - perhaps because of the hostel's relaxed vibe. The friendly owner can advise on how to spend a decadent night out, arrange Portuguese lessons or provide any other traveler tips.

How to reach us from the Airport
The International Airport Galeão (GIG) is situated just outside the city (around 30/40 minutes by car).
By Taxi
A taxi from the International Airport should cost around R$ 50 reais (US$ 16).
By Bus
1. Please take the Real bus 'Frescão' on the departure floor which costs R$4.50 reais and leaves every 30 minutes.
2. Catch it in front of the exit gate and get off at the Atlantica Avenue on the corner of Barão de Ipanema Street (in front of Hotel Rio Atlântica).
3. At the Barão de Ipanema Street you will walk 4 blocks until arriving at Pompeu Loureiro Street.
4. From there you will see a quiet cobblestone street called Travessa Santa Leocádia nº 38, and that's where we are.
