Lonely Planet Review
Arabian Nights fantasies come with wobbly white wooden ceiling beams and colourful wall tapestries, which help to make this sparkling hotel one of the most enjoyable rest spots in San'a.
A welcome new addition to the San'a hotel scene the Sanaã Nights has solid wooden beds, oh so soft mattresses and, compared to many of San'a's hotels, much less early morning Mosque disturbance. All of which should guarantee a decent nights kip. The rooms are bright and clean though the bathrooms are a tad on the tiny side. It has a cute little courtyard, which it shares with its neighbour the Golden Daar Hotel. It's one of the chirpier and friendlier hotels in town and offers superb value for money.

Author Tip
From this hotel I would set out into the souk to stock up on handfuls of frankincense and piles of tempting spices and herbs. The colourfully overloaded sacks in the friendly spice souk are the real deal and not simply available to delight tourists.
