Lonely Planet Review
When you stay at the male-only Kapuseru Inn, you'll get a berth with all the usual amenities, plus access to a sauna, massage service, large bathroom, coin laundry and even a 'book corner' with reclining chairs. It's conveniently located a stone's throw from Susukino Station.
Assuming you don't mind sleeping in a beehive, this male-only capsule hotel is a great deal for those on a budget. Imagine a bed inside a fibreglass bathtub, complete with a TV, air-con etc) - that's essentially what a night here feels like. For a small additional fee, you have the option of checking out as late as 18:00 the following day (perfect for those with jet lag or a hangover!).

Author Tip
If you're here during Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival), check out the row of ice bars and the all-ice karaoke box that's nearby on Susukino's main drag, or slurp down some great miso ramen at Ramen Alley or New Ramen Alley, also close by.
