Quotes Housed across the upper 24 floors of one of Shanghai's most unmistakable and dramatic towers, the JW Marriott boasts marvellously appointed rooms with full amenities and spectacular views. Marriott serviced apartments are also located within the tower, itself soaring above Renmin Park in the very centre of Shanghai.

This new top-end tower is thrusting Shanghai's luxury offerings to even greater heights through a combination of modern designer flair and luxurious comfort. The gorgeous guestrooms all come with spectacular views and all the latest amenities, including showers with hydraulic massage functions to soak away the stress. Even higher levels of relaxation are available at the Mandara Spa (6th floor). The incommodious lobby and reception area is surrounded by long views, which are half a minute away by lift on the 38th floor. Taking a leaf from the Grand Hyatt book, the JW Marriott Tomorrow Square has the highest library in the world above ground level. It may only be a reading room for the sole use of guests, but at 230.9m above sea level, it is enough to put a bibliophile's head truly in the clouds.

Spend some relaxing hours at the Shanghai Art Museum, but put aside the afternoon for the Shanghai Museum's collection. An evening meal on the Bund is highly recommended as a prelude to drinks at New Heights or the Glamour Bar.
