Quotes The elegant Japanese-run five-star Okura Garden boasts lovely grounds, on the site of the old French Club, and excellent location, across from the Jinjiang Hotel and near Central Huaihai Rd. Popular with Japanese visitors, it has an indoor pool, four restaurants and three bars. The newly renovated rooms are pleasant, with broadband, but the bathrooms are small. An extra around 200 on the room rate gets you a garden view. There are 15% discounts.

Service is excellent and blue dots on the employees' uniforms reveal their language ability, with three dots the best.
