Most rooms at the Edelweiss have a balcony, ask for a south-facing room and you'll have nice views to the hulking Bogd Khan mountain. Rooms themselves are functional but not spectacular - you have a choice between a twin or double bed and there is a mini bar, cable TV and IDD phone. The hotel also has a sauna and billiards room; karaoke sessions occasionally strike up at night. A big drawback is the very unappealing rear of the hotel - an ugly wasteland of pitted road, mounds of dirt and a garbage strewn river. If the area ever sees proper development the Edelweiss will be well-positioned to take advantage of its riverside location.
