If you're looking for the classic Cook Islands setting, complete with shady palms, lagoon views and a glorious china-white beach just moments from your door, then Kura's Kabanas won't disappoint.

Tucked away in a secluded grove off the main coast road, Kura's three timber-framed bungalows are tastefully decorated and have lovely outside porticos complete with wooden furniture and a fine ocean outlook. Inside, sleek, shiny wood floors and neutral colours sit nicely alongside rustic touches such as wood-framed beds, patterned tapestries and exposed beam ceilings, while the small kitchens and bathrooms are clean, modern and well kitted-out. A meandering pathway winds its way past the three bungalows and crosses a cute little bridge over to a grassy sun-lounging area beside the lagoon, and Muri Beach (arguably Rarotonga's finest stretch of sand) is just a short walk along the coast. If you're after a little more space, there are a couple of family units in a separate two-storey block nearer the road and a self-contained 'hideaway cottage' further inland.
