Despite its name, Cosmic Guest House is a straight-laced place with super-clean rooms and a touch of homeliness located in a surprisingly quiet corner of Mirador Mansion.Mirador Mansion and its stable of budget guesthouses is generally a better-maintained version of the set-up at Chungking Mansions down the road. The friendly owner of Cosmic Guest House has made a big effort to cheer up the no-frills rooms here, installing some shelves and mirrors alongside the television, telephone and private bathroom. Several rooms have windows and are a bit bigger than the others, which makes them well worth the extra cost, though all the rooms are a decent size considering what's normally on offer in Hong Kong's poky guesthouses. There's also no lack of security here.
