This well-maintained guesthouse is home to 10 immaculate rooms and is one of the best budget deals at the Yau Ma Tei end of Nathan Rd. The owner is an avid hiker and has been known to take interested parties along on foot-powered explorations of the New Territories hinterland.The rooms at Hakka's Guest House are standardised in that they all come with televisions, private bathrooms and telephones (guests can make free local calls). However, those on one side of the main corridor are slightly bigger than those on the other side. You may as well ask if you can have one of these. There's also one big room with two beds that four people could squeeze into if necessity forced them to. There are no other facilities here to speak of, though there is a cheap laundry in a nearby building that the owner can point you towards.
