Such is the pristine sparkle of every freshly scrubbed surface in this immaculate accommodation that you're liable to feel guilty if your own fingernails are even slightly dirty. This excellent, polished guesthouse will suit those who are happy to pay a little extra to avoid the decrepitude that pervades places like Chungking Mansions. On the other hand, those who like their accommodation to have a few rough edges may feel that Rent-A-Room Hong Kong lacks a little character. Also, being Yau Ma Tei, you're slightly out of the buzz of Tsim Sha Tsui. The several dozen peaceful rooms here are wonderfully well equipped for a budget establishment; each has a private bathroom, television, telephone, fridge and a kettle. People staying a few nights or less can use the laundry and internet terminal, but only long-term guests have access to the kitchen. There's no signage outside the front door, but just be brave and press the buzzer. Note that room prices often increase on Friday and Saturday nights.
