Opposite a quiet park, in one of Delhi's most sophisticated suburbs, is this pleasant moderately sized hotel - one of the city's calmest places to lay your head. Its verdant front garden, home to chirping birds, is the perfect spot to catch your breath after a day out in draining Delhi.Friendly La Sagrita has just 19 rooms, all neat and clean, with wooden floors, new furnishings and cool marble bathrooms. They're furnished in soft tones, some with floral bedspreads and matching curtains and, though some are smallish, are all light and comfortable. La Sagrita also has two great 'penthouses', which are especially recommended if you're travelling with children or in Delhi for a while; they don't have the cooped-up feel of a regular hotel room. Each has a sitting area, two extra beds, a balcony and a small fully equipped kitchen. The hotel has no restaurant, but 24-hour room service is available. Free wi-fi is available throughout.
