The most boutique of all Mumbai's boutique hotels, Gordon House offers three floors of stylish rooms with Scandinavian, Mediterranean and Country Cottage themes. It's a little over the top, but the rooms are memorable and the facilities - including the popular Polly Esther's nightclub - are excellent.

Gordon House has been styled with gusto, its three floors each have a different theme: the 1st floor is 'Mediterranean', with summery colours and Balearic tile mosaics; the 2nd floor is 'Country Cottage', with pine furniture, wooden floors and patchwork quilts; and the 3rd floor is 'Scandinavian', with minimalist designer furniture and lots of open spaces. Rooms have king-sized beds and stereo systems. Downstairs, you'll find two restaurants and the popular nightclub, Polly Esther's, an exuberant celebration of 1970s chintz.
