This converted motel with guesthouse-style communal facilities and freebies is always kept clean and tidy. Not a party place, but centrally located and a fave budget option for travellers young and old who appreciate its quiet and relaxed atmosphere.Within shouting distance of three palaces, the facility-filled motel rooms appeal to travellers and long-termers who realise they're on to a good thing staying here. With the usual free breakfast, internet and washing machine, Beewon offers better furnishing than rival budget options - the lobby even has a chandelier of sorts. Receptionist Jun is a gem, and the large Korean-style, sleep-on-the-floor room on the 3rd floor is ideal for groups. Drawbacks: no space for smokers except on the roof or the front doorstep, and the kitchen can be crowded as everyone tucks into the free breakfast.
