Travellers who discover Fifu Guest House seem to fall under a spell that makes it difficult to leave. Its elegant accommodation, inviting rooftop restaurant with fort views, and tranquil location away from the town help explain why.For those urbanites who need a range of conveniences outside their door, Fifu isn't ideal. But if you can appreciate a 5-10 minute walk to town in exchange for something like quiet country living, then this intimate guesthouse is a charming place to relax. Its eight rooms are absolutely delightful with sandstone-block walls, traditionally patterned comfy beds (some with a carved stone base and headboard) and bright curtains. The suite is the loveliest, priciest and homeliest of them all, and could be a good option for a small family. The rooftop restaurant is lit up by an open fire at night, and the friendly staff will graciously offer tea. Solo females may want to consider staying here carefully if they foresee walking to and from the guesthouse at night.
