Handily located across the way from the new Museo de Artes Populares and down the street from the Teatro Metropolitán, this nine-level block makes a fine place to lay your head. Mexican handicrafts spice up the busy lobby and otherwise bland though well-maintained rooms. A genuinely cheerful staff has ample experience attending to foreign guests, especially French and German groups.
