Enter the slick yet cozy lobby, complete with modern sofas, a wall full of bookcases and even a tiny bar. It's a small guesthouse with an all-round elegant feel, located in the prime social haven of Las Cañitas.

With nine small but lovely rooms - all non-smoking - this boutique hotel offers a hip stay in a fabulous location. There are five styles of room - the best come with private rooftop terrace (but only one room has a bathtub). All are elegant in that simple contemporary style, with white bedspreads and colourful touches to brighten things up. There's a tiny two-seat bar in the fancy lobby, and behind is the breakfast area and the hotel's top highlight - a small but pleasant grassy backyard with barbecue, sundeck, palm trees and outdoor shower. There's also a small massage room for luxurious treatments like heated stones, reflexology and pedicures. And when you want to get out, there are dozens of restaurants and bars in the blocks around you.
