One of Prague's best-value budget options, 15 has helpful staff, bright, modern rooms with shared cooking facilities, spotless bathrooms, and self-catering apartments that sleep one to five people.

Around 10min east of Prague's main train station, Pension 15 is as simple as its name suggests. No frills or frippery here, just clean, plain, honest rooms where budget travellers can rest up after a hard day's slog around the sights. The rooms are fairly small, but they are sunny and squeaky clean, and are all clearly well looked after, with stone-tiled floors and lots of fresh-looking pine brightening the place up. However, the beds are a bit basic, and have thin mattresses. Each room has a sink, and there are shared toilets and shower cubicles, which, again, are very clean. If you'd prefer a bit more space, and private bathroom facilities, then the ground-level apartments in the courtyard are worth checking out. Done out in the same pine style as the rest of the rooms, they have fully-equipped kitchens and dining areas.
