Lonely Planet review

The word 'colourful' doesn't begin to describe this lively backpackers' joint, with its vividly painted dorms and buzzing population of travellers from around the world. It's in a good central location as well. You may have complained about the drabness of dorm accommodation in the past but you won't be doing that here. Each dorm has been strikingly decorated in a distinctive style using the brightest paints available. There's the Raspberry Patch (green and red), Santorini (blue and white), and the Communist (red with a big image of Lenin). Homesick Irish travellers might enjoy the Celtic-decor Tir Na Og. Thanks to the high ceilings, the lower bunks have unusually good headroom, and the shared bathrooms are clean and bright. Oki Doki has an on-site bar, which is a fun place to unwind in the evenings. The hostel also has a free washing machine and kitchen, and hires out bikes.
