Lonely Planet review
The young English-speaking attorney who operates the Don Quixote with his wife is passionate about San Miguel and will happily expound on the city's past or present. The guesthouse is also their home, and it's not uncommon for one or both to share meals with guests. There are just three basic rooms, with large, sloped wood ceilings, cable TV, and red-and-yellow tile floors. Rooms are a bit dark, but homey, and two have air-con.All open onto a narrow, leafy courtyard, and rates include a full Salvadoran or American breakfast (a Spanish restaurant is planned). It's far from the bus terminal, but in a safer area.
