You'd think the purple-and-yellow paint job would have been enough. Nope. The 40 rooms at this hotel are swathed and swaddled in gold lamé. Frankly, all that's missing is the disco ball. Nevertheless, this is the best of the cheapies - renovated rooms with tile floors, good beds and cable TV. Top-floor rooms get the best light. Be sure to ask if Dance Fever re-runs are still playing.
