Beyond its location in a 15th-century Old Town convent, there's nothing particularly special about this 140-room monster spread out among seven buildings. Turn your expectations down a notch and Konventa Seta offers pretty good bang-for-the-buck, however.
That's because its 140 rooms are spread among seven buildings. The entire complex is a bit of a maze; finding your way in is no guarantee you'll find your way out. Once safely inside you'll be met by spotty service and rooms that, while large, are outfitted with cheap furniture and fixtures, miniature TVs and scratchy towels. A few rooms are redeemed by the presence of old, character-enhancing oak beams. Light-wood floors provide a cheerful touch. Turn your expectations down a notch and Konventa Seta offers pretty good bang-for-the-buck. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Wi-fi access costs a small fee per day. The size does increase the chances that somebody will be making noise in the courtyard in the wee hours, but probably only on weekends. Stag parties have also been known to alight here.
