It's a long bus or taxi ride from Central and in a rather ho hum neighbourhood, but this newcomer offers good value, some harbour views, large rooms, contemporary comfort and a rooftop pool and gym.

Location isn't Hotel Jen's strongpoint. But hey, at least you're on the Island and it is reasonably handy for the Macau ferries. A 10 minute cab ride or a 15 minute (free) shuttle bus ride will see you safe in Central. In fact, it may well be worth the extra hassle - the Jen is a cracking little place. It's modern, the front desk team is eager to help and the rooms are excellent, streamlined to the point of minimalism perhaps but spacious and well-appointed with some okay harbour views. Even better, there's a gym and 18-metre pool on the roof, perfect for shaking off the jetlag. At these prices its worth considering.
