The Sun Sun is a perfectly respectable midrange option in one of Macau's more interesting neighbourhoods by the Inner Harbour. The service is reliable and personable and the 178 rooms are comfortable enough.

Having said that, they are hardly going to excite your socks off. This is, after all, a Best Western property and it's most attractive for its service, position and price. The rooms are clean and comfortable - perhaps 'tame' is the best description. But those at the front do have good views over busy little Praça Ponte e Horta, and from the upper floors across the Porto Interior towards China. The lower floors can be a bit noisy. The attached restaurant is probably best avoided, though the basic breakfast does come with as much coffee as you can drink. Probably the hotel's best point is its location, in a lively and truly local part of town that is still within an easy wander from the main sights.
