The Marriott was built in 2000 on top of a transport hub - two subway lines, an Incheon airport limousine stop and express buses that scoot off all over Korea. The hotel's commitment to the highest standards is shown by the recent renovations.Next door to Shinsegae Department Store, a multiplex cinema, a shopping mall and a transport hub, the Marriott is well-situated in the Gangnam business district south of the river. Built this century, rooms and bathrooms are larger than its rivals, and renovators have already been at work, keeping rooms fresh, fully wired and up-to-date. Towels and pillows reach double figures, and big windows provide light and views as you watch the great city morph into a million lights every evening. Everything impresses except the lack of signs to find it.
