Cross culture with comfort and you get the unique fusion of Yang Come Village, which has recreated many of the architectural and ceremonial elements of an ethnic tribal village found in the mountains of China (sans the crowing roosters and subsistence hardships).

Chiang Mai claims deep historical ties with the highland villages of Yunnan in China, being both a trading partner and settlement for migrating tribes. Yang Come's owner went on a pilgrimage to this land and was inspired by the simple but proud villages of the Tai-Lue people, an ethnic tribe that contributed to the broader northern Thai (also known as Lanna) character. His hotel homage includes 44 rooms that occupy a collection of traditional wooden longhouses with signature steep roofs. Most rooms overlook the garden pool, and winding, shaded paths traverse the property. Room interiors are bright and sunny with modern amenities and plenty of elbow room. Although the ambience is a stylised fairytale, this is one of the few village concept hotels with enough space to accommodate a broad cross-section of visitors, from families with kids to romantic couples.
