One of Occheuteal's most established hotels, with 83 spacious rooms featuring lots of solid wood, this place is housed in an imposing, Khmer-style building with serene, Bayon-style faces peering out from above the main entrance. The staff is very professional and speaks English.

The Seaside's rooms, many of which look out on a tranquil, grassy courtyard, come with ceilings high enough to give a sense of airiness, vaguely 1930s-style lighting, sparkling tile floors, lace-fringed curtains, 21in TVs and art deco beds massive enough to take a lot of bouncing. Light switches are on a bizarre fuse panel next to the bathroom door. The medium-sized showers tend to spray onto the toilet, though there is a shower curtain (a rarity in Cambodia). Pricier rooms are big bordering on huge and have a writing desk. On-site amenities include an internet cafe and a fish and seafood restaurant with an extensive menu and tanks for live fish and crabs. Plenty of guarded parking is available.
