This monster sized complex is divided into two hotels. The Western Plaza is the cheaper of the two blocks and has slightly tiered but otherwise clean and spacious rooms. You can expect an immediate 45% discount on the above rates.

The Crown Plaza (room from Tk 3000, plus 25% tax) is the big boys choice and though the standard rooms are utterly devoid of personality they do have baths as well as showers (in case you're really dirty). They're also mercifully free of the tacky, fake chandeliers and massive presidential portrait of the hotel chairman that blights the reception. After the almost guaranteed discount you will only be paying Tk 2000 a room with all taxes, making this a certified bargain.
