Address: Western shore , Anadu , South asia
Right on the lakeshore on the south side of Phewa Tal, this is the place to come for blissful peace and quiet. Rooms are simple but inviting and each has a massive sun-deck facing the lake and mountains. There are more views from the lakeside restaurant. Boat transfers from Lakeside are included in the price. If you came to Pokhara to get away from it all, you could definitely do worse than this laid-back resort on the south shore of Phewa Tal. The only way in or out is by rowboat or on foot from Damside, and the trail to the World Peace Pagoda starts right behind the garden. The lake here mirrors the peaks of the Annapurna range and the Sarangkot ridge, and each of the cottages has a sun-deck where you can sit and appreciate the view. Unless there's a big tour group in residence, it's usually quiet and serene. Huge windows allow plenty of light into rooms. There's a dedicated boat station beside the resort - call ahead for transfers from Lakeside.

Take breakfast on the sun-deck and order an extra round of toast as fuel for the trek up to the World Peace Pagoda. Complete the circuit via Damside and do a turn around the Varahi Mandir on your way back to the resort. Most people dine at the resort before retiring to listen to the soothing sounds of the forest.
