With buildings springing up all around it, this longstanding Alameda tower has changed little over the years, though its views are now obstructed. Popular with Australian and European groups, it boasts spacious rooms with old-fashioned furniture and seriously dated lobby decor. Your best bet for Alameda views are the north-facing units above the 11th floor.
